About the event
Join us for a hands-on, small-group four-week Woodworking Club!
Children will learn age-appropriate woodworking skills while building and personalizing their own wooden harvest wagon.
Throughout the series, children will work on one small decorative wooden harvest wagon from beginning to end. They’ll be introduced to basic woodworking skills such as tool identification and safety, sanding, measuring, hammering, assembling and painting—all in an encouraging, age-appropriate environment.
For safety, all wooden pieces will be pre-cut and pre-drilled. Children will use child-friendly hand tools and safety glasses with close guidance throughout each class. Our small-group setting allows every child to receive individual help while building confidence, practicing patience and experiencing the pride of creating something with their own hands.
What we’ll do each week:
10/6 - Week 1: Learn about tools and safety, receive your personalized apron, sanding , measuring and prepare the wooden pieces.
